This is quite a unique and quirky hotel. It's obviously high end, but there's just a couple of small details that have been overlooked. The bathroom layout is unconventional. The sink is in the bedroom area, the toilet and shower are both in separate cubicles. There is nowhere in the shower cubicle to hang a towel, so you need to be comfortable with who you're sharing your room with, as you have to open the shower to get a towel. The pillows on the bed are quite possibly the WORST pillows I've ever had in any hotel ever, they are so soft, they become completely flat when you sleep and the bed was rock hard. Had two terrible nights sleep as a result. The room was very well equipped though.

The property is located at the old town side of Geneva, location is superb with lots of restaurants nearby and extremely convenient to walk to the main shopping area.

Everything was on point and exactly as expected! The staff was terrific and the accommodations were the best!

Hotel is conveniently located to the train station and the main shopping/dining area. It was super quiet as well which was very nice. However, carpets in the room were heavily stained.

Have been coming to Hotel Butterfly for many summers as a base to hike the mountains and enjoy Zermatt. Close to train station, excellent staff, delicious and varied breakfast, clean and well appointed rooms and lobby and food related areas, safe and quiet surroundings. I could go on and on. See you next summer ☺️

We enjoyed our stay. The room was bigger than the others we stayed at, it was comfortable and clean. This hotel is close to the center of town and restaurants.
