The hotel looks very new and modern. The rooms are a little small, but the bathroom was huge for Europe. The free breakfast was amazing. It’s not as close to the city center as I would of liked, but the metro is very close

The stay was amazing with a fabulous breakfast. The hotel is located very close to the central train station.

Highly recommend, waterfront deluxe room w/fantastic views of harbour, great location with a lovely cafe for quick breakfast/cappuccino. Would stay again!

Absolutely lovely small hotel, with an elegant and comfortable bar and multiple common areas on every floor. Room are spacious and cozy. Location is perfect. Avoid 5th floor due to slopped ceiling over the bed and smaller windows. I hit my head at night pretty hard on the slope, but that was the only flaw. Breakfast is great. Would definitely stay here again (just on a lower floor :).

What I don't like the most is the breakfast. There are very limited breakfast options and it's a very small buffet - compared to other 5 star hotels nearby it's inferior. The first morning, I ordered boiled eggs, I waited for more than 30 mins or so, then checked with the staff. They responded eggs had to be cooked - clearly we don't need 30 mins for hard boiled eggs. It was brought out less than 10 mins after I checked in with them You could have just admitted the order was missed and apologised. Also staff didn't show me where I could get water on the first day. I checked in and got to my room before 5pm. Complimentary filtered water bottle was brought to my room after 8pm. I can't understand how this is helpful. This is an odd customer welcome journey - it's all about the right moment at the right time - wondering if the hotel wants guests to drink and pee at night and that's why they brought it to the room so late? The same thing happened the following day. The sauna had very loud music and poor quality speakers so it's not at all a relaxing time in the sauna. I requested the music be turned down or turned off but obviously no change was made. Overall this hotel falls short of my expectations and I don't recommend.

The host was great when I eventually talked to him. We spent a day with no kettle or ability to cook , but had a full size fridge in the room, which confused me. I contacted the host and he showed me the shared kitchen available. It was through a door marked private, so we did not enter it the day before! Sadly the shower was a wet room with limited slope, so the whole floor was wet. We had a trail of ants pottering about and silver fish. The ants made it onto the table and the beds. The beds had a free roaming toppers possibly to give the mattress a new lease of life, but failed. So we’re very uncomfortable . the sheets were too small for beds and the sheets roamed about too. 2 nights for 2 people cost me £100 more than a 4* hotel, which I have just moved to. Sadly, though the host was pleasant, this is a NO from me . The Best Western is just round the corner and cheaper.

A great breakfast Buffett and pool table and board games.

Nice small and cheap. Perfect for a night if you are on your way to/from Kostaboda or taking the ferry from Oskarshamn. Breakfast was added for 50 SEK, simply but nice. Not if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences though. However there was access to a kitchen with fridge so extra budget friendly if you are bringing your own food. And dog friendly! Quite a small town so if you arriving in the evening don't expect anything within walking distance to be open. We found a pizzeria a 10min drive away though .
