The welcome was very good. The rooms was lovely but after that; the service was awful! Glasses and plates left all around the pool area and on tables in the lounge. When you requeated something, it was either extremely slow arriving or on a few occasions, completely forgotten about! Nobody around the pool area to flag down to get a drink. Numerous times in the evening I had to go to the bar after requesting drinks that didnt arrive. Staff stood around talking instead of monitoring the area qnd cleaning tables. Took a night off eating spicy food and opted for some western food which was shocking! Drinks and wine especially are very expensive. All in all, a lovely place but very poor servive! The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Spent 2 amazing nights here for safari tours situated right outside the national park. The hotel staff and location is amazing. The cabanas are beautiful and air conditioned. We even had elephants in the lagoon outside our room one night. As additional the safaris are excellent, the park is dripping with wildlife, we booked directly from yalla national park but the hotel does similar tours do a full day as 1/2 is not enough.

Lovely hotel and staff are great. The pricing are excessive for this hotel. $150-200 for a massage where other similar hotels charge $50-100.

Friendly service and great souvenir

From the moment we walked up, we felt so welcome and comfortable. The manager was incredible at arranging all of our experiences from local temples to the elephant safari and an amazing massage. Food and beverage service is personal and accommodating. We loved the plunge pool at our room, especially after the amazing climb to see Sigiriya Rock! Incredible staff, tranquil property- loved every minute- the peacock even put on a show when we left!
