Hotel is clean, rooms were spacious and pretty nice. Not a lot of dining options here though, and you have to take a cab/uber to get anywhere. We went specifically because if the highly-rated pool and it was only open one day, and on that day half the pools were still empty. This was late March, it was 90+ every day... no good reason for pools to be closed. But if they are closed, the Rio should indicate the unavailability of amenities before charging for room fees and "resort fees."
