I was really underwhelmed with the Dorsett. We booked an Executive Lounge Room and were really disappointed to get a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the shopping centre Carpark.
The cleaners on different days, didn’t leave bathmats, face cloths. Rubbish bins that were full on one day wasn’t emptied, no amenities - milk, teabags on one occasion. Netting curtains unhemmed and dragging the ground.
The Executive Lounge was nice, and the staff were lovely up there, especially Rashmi.
Overall - for what should have been a 5 star stay, this was just an average hotel stay.
Nothing special at all sorry.

We loved the apartment we stayed in at the Talisman! I wanted to ensure we had a view (because, well, we were on the Gold Coast), and the view was spectacular!
Being across the road from the beach was amazing. And everything was within a close walk, or if we needed to go further afield, we were so centrally located that it was easy.
The apartment itself was spacious, modern, and comfortable. It had a lovely beachy vibe.
Checking in was super easy.
Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family!
