Nice location and the building could be or once was nice but the excruciating heat and noise in the rooms was unbearable. The office is only contactable during the day and whilst they make some effort to help it is minimal. The cleanliness and maintenance definitely need work. We booked a large room but only one of the four large windows opened onto a very noisy street. The replacement room offered was on another street, much smaller and just as hot and noisy. Our room was hotter than the hallway outside and the maintenance people even commented on this. Ventilation is wholly absent. Very few sockets in strange places. Various maintenance issues. I recommend the area but stay elsewhere. Keeping rooms at such temperatures should be against the law. Tiny fan supplied but recirculates the hot air.

The location was good - easy to walk to many of the places to be seen in Oslo. Very convenient for the train to the airport. Our 1st room there was very small - not much space for anything - we had a family room. Our 2nd room there was also a family room and it was very nice - we had enough space to keep our luggage and a large bathroom. Really appreciate Kristin who was there when we checked in the 2nd time - she helped give us an early check in seeing my elderly father and took the trouble to change the room that had been blocked for us so he did not have to wait at the reception - she was also very thoughtful in offering us breakfast to go as we were checking out at 4 AM the next morning. She was extremely kind and helpful. Check out was ok - they would not let us use the door that leads directly to the station so we had to go outside with the luggage and my dad and had to use stairs to get to the station. In case you are driving to the hotel and need to drop off your luggage, it is a bit tricky - so call the hotel and ask for specific instructions.

Very nice boutique hotel, conveniently located not far from the Harbor and other attractions. Very nice and professional staff, with all the amenities and a great breakfast. Excellent experience, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Convenient

The room temperature is centra-controlled and cannot be adjusted. Breakfast is fantastic and foods are fresh. We love their pastries and coffee.
