Staff were very friendly and helpful during check in.
Rooms are a lovely size
They were mainly clean just a little bit dusty
The area is lovely too just a short walk from train station to amsterdam, Zaandam is also beautiful to explore

I had originally booked a single room. Within 24 hours of booking I called to change the room to a double as my husband was also able to join me and we needed a bigger room. It took about 10 days for them to give us an answer as the manager was only on property from 9am and sometimes left around 2 or 3 pm local time and only on weekdays and didn’t address the situation through email either. This delay cost us about $1000 in added flight cost as the prices went up as we kept waiting to get a response. When we arrived I mentioned this upon checking in but the person shrugged it off with a simple sorry. In addition the air conditioning was very noisy and even though I complained two times nothing was done to fix it. Overall it was not a pleasant experience.
