This was a great place to stay in Vienna. The hotel has a great vibe and the decor is amazing. About a 35/40 minute walk to the historic town it was nice to be a bit outside. As it is located next to West Bahnhof transport is great. With trams. u bahn and airport bus right outside. The main shopping street is also across the road. With all this you would think it may be a bit noisy but it is actually very calm and quiet inside with no noise from outside. Rooms have lots of amenities. Great toiletries and air con. Bar and lounge areas are also very vibey! Overall would recommend.

I originally had another hotel in mind, but the price kept climbing. I checked repeatedly, hoping it would come back down, but eventually I booked Hotel Motto with some hesitation. I had been imagining a more traditional luxury experience—something with a spa where I could really feel pampered. What a wonderful surprise! The room was absolutely adorable, and the décor was incredibly chic. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, and the personal touches made the experience feel special. Honestly, it felt like I had stepped into a movie and was the main character. I hadn't traveled to Europe in decades, so I put a lot of pressure on this trip and wanted everything to be perfect (even though I know that's impossible). Hotel Motto exceeded my expectations. Location was convenient, lively and fun. I loved my stay, have absolutely no regrets, and would happily return. I'll definitely be back! Je ne regrette rien . Thank you!

Great staff. Check-in was great and friendly. Bell service was personal and bar service at night was professional and personal. Quality staff all around!

I stayed at the Grand Hotel Wien for five nights while attending a conference in Vienna. The hotel’s main strengths are its excellent location and cleanliness. It is very well situated for both business and sightseeing, and the property is generally well maintained. My room was fine, although I had specifically booked a king bed and was assigned a twin room instead. The beds were also not particularly comfortable. They felt small and somewhat old-fashioned, with spring mattresses that reminded me of older hotels rather than what I would expect from a modern five-star property. The breakfast was decent, with a reasonable variety of options, but the quality and flavor were average. It was perfectly acceptable, but not at the level I would associate with a top-tier luxury hotel. The biggest issue by far was the air conditioning. During my stay, Vienna experienced unusually warm weather for May, and the AC was not working properly for the first few days. Sleeping was genuinely uncomfortable, and I was told that the issue affected much of the hotel. Towards the end of my stay, the system seemed to improve somewhat, but it still felt like it was operating at half capacity and never cooled the room adequately. If the air conditioning had worked properly, this would have been a perfectly acceptable hotel for a business trip. As it stands, I would describe it as a clean, well-located place to sleep, rather than a hotel to enjoy for its facilities or overall guest experience.

Our second time with a week-long stay. We love how easy communication went with the staffs who were willing to help us. Transportation was very easy to go anywhere. One minor complaint was a little bit noisy due to many trains passing and construction on going, but the other side of building was okay last time. Overall highly recommended.

Pretty basic room. Breakfast buffet was just ok but 20 Euros. Staff at the front desk were not real friendly. No room cleaning even though we were there for 5 days. We checked out a day early but they refused to credit us for the unused stay. Got pretty busy since lots of tour buses used the hotel.
