Thank you for pleasurable 3 night stay.What an amazing hotel, fantastic staff very helpful and polite. Very clean,great location for everything, would definitely stay again.

The staff were super kind and welcoming. The breakfast was full of local specialties and the room was very clean. There is a paid parking facility that but we didn’t use it. Location is very convenient.

Lovely place to stay when you are in Sendai

The staff are so sweet. We got to the executive lounge pretty late but the man let us stay until closing and let us take the last bit of snacks. Place is clean, has parking, and good views. No onsen, TV only has cable and the mirroring setting did not work with my phone. Other than that very good place.

This is a very good hotel in a very convenient location next to Sendai Station and the center of Sendai. It is clean, modern, with good facilities. It is walking distance to the station and steps away from the Espar shopping center that has a lot of restaurants. I would normally rate the Metropolitan very high; however, being a VIPAccess hotel I was disappointed at the lack of recognition of my platinum status, the highest in hotels.com. So we did not receive an upgrade, nor a free breakfast, and not even a one-hour late checkout (for which they wanted to charge Yen 2000/person). We were not offered an early checkin, which occured at the set time of 3 pm for everyone, so there was a line to contend with, as there was no special line for frequent travelers. I don't know if this rather poor service is a problem with the Metropolitan or with hotels.com/Expedia, but I think it is both. Thumbs down. I'm looking to use my own hotel chain membership for better service.
