Fantastic hotel for families. Great location and easy access to train station. Close to so many restaurants and Juno Bakery! Easy walk over to the harbour and new district. On hot days, go for a swim there as well!

The hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms well, you know, a room is a room. The bed was very comfortable, the AC worked, the shower head was of the rainfall style with a separate handheld wand. Nothing really to complain about, just nothing over the top amazing either. The mini-bar is located inside a cabinet and things weren't really cold, just kind of cool. I could feel the hot air from the compressor trying to escape the cabinet so we just left the cabinet door open the whole time we were there. The frig cooled down nicely after that. On a side note, Expedia said this particular room that we booked had a refrigerator, not a mini-bar stocked full of stuff. Hotel personnel told me no rooms have refrigerators, just the mini-bar. We ended up taking most everything out and put to the side, putting our own supplies in and then putting all their stuff back before we left. We were on the water side of the hotel and had a little (very little) balcony. It was big enough for two people to stand and watch the goings on, but not big enough for a chair. Everyone went out of their way for us except for maybe the room service. We had a little incident where we got a little blood on the bed so we requested room service, which we weren't going to do during our stay. Well, they made the bed but didn't change the sheets. The next day we stripped the bed so they had no choice. They also removed a chipped coffee cup and never replaced it, I had to get one from downstairs.
