Werkendam Pet-friendly Vacations

The rooms were clean but very small. The breakfst was good and the staff did an excelent job of managing the high guest count on accoount of the business confrence that was going on in town that drew crowds from around the world. Very close to the train station (2 minute walk) that makes it easy to take the train into Amsterdam Central. Would come back again. Zaandam is a beautiful city.

The canal view room was worth the upgrade! There is even a little separate viewing area where we sat to have a coffee in the mornings. Great location and very kind staff.

It was a good experience for the most part. I did get a wake up call I didn’t ask for at 5:30 and I asked the light in the bathroom to get fixed but it did not. Otherwise, clean and nice bar.

The hotel was perfect. Beautiful and near everything.

Fantastic location, great customer service, perfect choice when In Amsterdam

The staff was very courteous and friendly. However, the room we were assigned on the first night was quite a shock. The shower was located in the bedroom with only a single glass wall for separation. There was no sofa and only one chair in the room, as well as just one small bath towel provided. Overall, the room felt more like a closet than a proper hotel room. Given the price we paid, we expected a much more decent accommodation. The following day, I requested a different room, which we received that evening. This room was significantly better and met our expectations. That said, I believe a discount should have been offered for the first night, which unfortunately did not happen. Overall, the hotel is very clean and modern.

Excellent location in the heart of the EU quarter, some lovely restaurants and lively bars close by. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room I was in was clean but it did not have air con, while it did have a fan the room still got very warm which made sleeping challenging. That being said I will be staying there again in the near future.

Great location, very close to Grand Place and within walking distance of many attractions in central Brussels. We didn’t need a car for most places, although you would need one or public transport for Atomium and Mini-Europe. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the air conditioning worked well. The main downside is that the hotel has no parking. Street parking is expensive and not ideal, but I found a nearby parking garage for about €31 per 24 hours. Checkout was a little difficult because there was nowhere to stop the car near the hotel to load our luggage. Overall, a very positive stay, especially if you are visiting Brussels without a car.
