It was a really great stay. Clean, good tea in the room, loved the bathroom, very helpful staff. The hotel is a few seconds walk from the metro station, so perfect if you don't want to stay in Central Amsterdam and prefer a quieter area. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.

This hotel is simply amazing! The location is fantastic, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. The service is exceptional! The room is small, but honestly, we didn’t need anything more. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the room is completely soundproof and the blackout curtains make it perfectly dark, so we had a fantastic night’s sleep. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely stay here again next time we visit. Highly recommended!

Hotel is centrally located, close to transportation, points of interest and shopping areas. Staff are helpful at check in. House Keeping can improve a little.

Limited amenities, but great rooms and a great location. Five minute walk to two tram lines.

Nice, clean hotel for the Amsterdam area. It's right on the bus line going both ways to and from Schiphol Airport (don't take the train or you'll end up at Hoofdorp Station and have to take the bus back to De Hoek anyway. Breakfast was good, not great. Room was good, too. The biggest downside to this hotel is that it really isn't close to anything other than a McDonald's (meh). You have to get back on the bus for shops, restaurants, or a grocery store. Other than that, it's good.

I had stayed in a Social Hub in Madrid and found it to be an excellent alternative to main stream hotels. The one in Amsterdam was not the case. The location for this hotel is not very good. We were assigned a handicap accessible room without requiring nor requesting one. They did change our room but unfortunately the air conditioning in that room did not work. When I enquired at the desk I was told that none of the rooms had air conditioning because it was illegal in Europe to have AC. This is of course false. The rooms were climate controlled except our room was about 25-28 degrees even though the thermostat was set to 18. They said they would send someone but never did. We survived by opening the window and luckily the fall weather kept the room comfortable for sleeping. We did not spend any daytime hours in the room. Overall, for the money we paid, we could have had a much better hotel room, closer to the city centre and in a safer, more friendlier area. I do not recommend staying at this location.
