The Hotel feels like part of history, it is so iconic - so many famous people (good & bad) have stayed there. The arrival at the Hotel as you approach on a motor launch is unique. Every member of staff are courteous and friendly - more than happy to help. Food & drinks are pricey but the Breakfast on the terrace in the morning - what a treat looking over the ocean across the beach. Room was great and we had a welcome bottle of wine on arrival. After a busy day shoulder-to-shoulder with the crowds in Venice, it is so lovely to escape from Saint Mark's square on their private shuttle for the 15 minute ride to the Lido and sanctuary. Couldn't recommend the Hotel highly enough. Truly legendary.

Very nice ground floor. Open layout between the restaurant and the children's playground, which is helpful for families. Breakfast generally v good, with the exception of flies on the fresh fruit. Room was pleasant. The orientation of the TV within the room is odd and needs a re-think. I would have appreciated laundry facilities. I stayed for 5 nights and they didn't stock more shower gel in the room during my stay.

The staff were amazing. We enjoyed having a drink and a delicious meal at the canal table! It was an unexpected and wonderful surprise! The location was very convenient too!

Exceptional boutique style hotel. Great location. The staff is super friendly and helpful. About 3 minutes walk to the water bus. Beautifully decorated rooms.

The air conditioning is centrally controlled by the front desk. You must ask them to turn it on and adjust the temp.
