Seattle Pet-friendly Vacations

Not impressed with the service for a 5 star hotel!!! Stayed at the this property the night of 6/19 for our wedding anniversary. We arrived at the hotel a little after 4pm to check in and was told our room was not ready and they were waiting for a final inspection. Was told to wait in the lobby for 10 mins and our room would be ready. After 10 minutes, room was still not ready and then was told it would be another 10 minutes. MANY others were also waiting for their rooms. This is simply unacceptable to arrive after the check in time and rooms are not ready. Clearly there’s a service problem. There’s no way to get ice without asking the front desk. Called and requested ice from customer service/front desk. Waited and waited and finally just went to the lobby to get ice myself. Once again, service is lacking and there’s clearly no sense of urgency with any of the staff. One of the elevators didn’t seem to be working and it took FOREVER to use the only operable elevator. It took so long we finally took the stairs down and ended up having to go through the kitchen to exit the building. NOT AT ALL the experience I was expecting from this class of hotel. Do better 1 hotel.

Always enjoy staying here. Great location, water view rooms are great & the staff friendly & helpful. The breakfasts here are generous and very good.

The room was amazing, the dinner at the restaurant impressive, and the staff was knowledgeable. We will definitely return if passing through Seattle!!

The property was dated. Only one restaurant/bar open during our stay. The hotel had no gift shop for purchase's. We had a short walk when we needed to buy some snacks and first aid supplies. The property only had one elevator and was very small. Only three people at a time was the recommended occupancy. The room had a portable air conditioner. We stayed on one of Seattle's warmest weeks. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Stella was the only restaurant pen however, both breakfast and dinner were good. The hotel has a nice look and vibe to it. Being built in 1908 it has a certain charm. Upon checking out we still haven't received our final receipt.

Very sterile and modern. First room had been “deep cleaned” prior to our arrival and smelled like a dry cleaners. We switched rooms. Check in had long delays.

It works well with a big group as there are many places close by to walk to and enjoy.

Check your receipt after check-out - they added a second car and counted an extra parking space!!!
