We stayed for three nights here and were not disappointed. The room and hotel were clean, and the bathroom was modern and beds comfortable. The staff were very helpful, and answered all our questions and boomed us a Taxi for our morning departure to train station. Because we arrived from our flight before 3:00, we were able to check in early for €25. Hotel is in a beautiful old building and located centrally to everything! Would recommend to anyone.

Everything was great, location, view, staff. Can’t recommend enough. Cleanliness needs a little bit of work but other than that it was really beautiful. The food in the restaurant was lovely and great cocktails. When I asked reception if they could book me a cab for the morning it was no trouble. Great place, recommend!

Very dated hotel. Rooms a good size and bed was comfortable

The beds were horrible, it felt as if you were sleeping on springs. The property was dated and needed a refresh. Very disappointing for the price point. The two saving graces of the hotel was the staff and location. Lovely staff, very accommodating and you could not beat the location.

Listen, this place right here...this is the place to be. I'm a big traveler and have stayed in dozens of hotels from The Ritz to La Quinta and this place topped them all - and this was my first time in Amsterdam. Absolutely unreal. Not only is it probably the best location in the city to see literally anything of interest, but the property itself is top notch. It has an incredible interior, it has an incredible bar (one of the best bars in Amsterdam, period). It has a beautiful courtyard and a restaurant with incredible food. And the rooms?? Yeah, imagine having the best shower ever and having perfectly temperature controlled with plenty of space in even the smallest rooms. But that's not even the best part - my Fiancé and I wanted to go out to eat so I insisted we converse with the concierge since the rest of the hotel was already 10/10, we must've gotten 5 recommendations for restaurants and tours from them and each one was off the charts. The first restaurant we went to greeted us and when we sat down...BOOM, glass of champagne at the restaurant COMPLIMENTS of the rosewood. Check in was easy, they took our bags, they called us Ubers and ever person there was friendly - I will seriously not stay anywhere else in Amsterdam when I return - there's no point - this place has everything you need. (Also shoutout to the concierge, Mara - sorry about the spelling - she totally rocks and they should pay her whatever she desires)

Wow! This property is truly a gem. From the moment you walk onto the property you quickly realize that the pristine attention to detail, the committment to top notch guest service and the transformation of this historic building have landed you in a little oasis in the coolest city. The location was perfection, walking/biking distance to everything you could need. The staff were very attentive, the breakfast in the room was beautiful and generous. The room itself was so special, we would love to go back and experience all of the other guest rooms! We would highly recommend to everyone and cannot wait to be back on our next trip through the city.

Comfy hotel. 10 minute walk to everything. Very clean. Hotel restaurant is great.

The place has no central AC. They only provided little fans and it was 85° outside and it was sweltering hot in our room. I understand this might be the norm then, but as an American, we were looking for air-conditioning in our room so we only stayed there for a few hours before we move to the Sheraton which offered better accommodations

Location. Location. Location. My family of 4 stayed in the top floor apartment and it was perfect for us! We did suffer from pretty bad jet legs but it was a perfect place to have it as I could just sit and stare out the windows or grab some food and drinks downstairs while my family slept or vice versa. And we’re definitely away from tourists areas and we just got to relax and see locals get some sun and swim in the river. A short walk to the tram was good and we enjoyed the restaurants in the town area. The whole area seems very new and there were some canals being built out and the building and amenities were very new and nice. Only challenge was there might’ve been some cultural differences in how we joked with each other but staff members were friendly and helpful. And my in-room massage was very reasonable and very helpful in letting my body get over the jet lag. Overall, it was a wonderful stay! Oh! The July! Water those poor plants in the room!
