Loved this hotel!! Perfect location, staff were lovely and helpful and the room was delightful.

Love this hotel! We stayed 2 nights at the start of our visit and came back for our last night in Malta. The town is small but it’s so easy to use Bolt (like Uber) to travel around to see the sites. It’s a small boutique hotel and each room is unique. Super comfortable with a lot of eclectic objects that the owner has acquired. There is a lovely plunge pool by the bar area. The breakfast was perfect. They made us porridge and a full English. The staff go above and beyond and the owners are super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Rooms are very spacious and clean. Beautiful Spa and breakfast was really good. I would 100% recommend staying here.

Very friendly check in and reception. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast from great look out point. Set right in the ancient city which is great but made parking a challenge (park in free city lots/street). Breakfast was a slight let down for this price point. Service could be slow, forgetting items. Overall concept rather fussy with lots of served small items rather than choice/buffet. Also it grates to have paid a significant B&B rate only to be charged top up amounts for cooked items like eggs Benedict. Food in in house Trattoria restaurant is ok rather than excellent (you are paying a location premium) I’d suggest eating in Rabat

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. We were there for a wedding and then vacation. The wedding was in the hotel and it was spectacular.

We loved our stay at the Grand Excelsior! The staff were lovely and the pool and private beach were amazing. Even the staff by the pool bar were so great. The hotel really took care of us and made our honeymoon feel very special.

Location was great next to everything in old town and the boat shuttle to three cities. Staff was amazing lotta help highly recommend.

We had an inner room and for a busy city centre location it was SO quiet. The room and bed were comfortable, fridge and coffee maker, iron + board all provided. The 5th floor roof terrace for breakfast and complimentary snacks 6-8pm was lovely, we were disappointed we couldn’t access at other times. Staff very friendly and helpful, bus info, advice on trips etc. The breakfast included local dishes as well as cereal, fruit, eggs etc. Only downside no “ordinary” / non Maltese fresh coffee (not instant) available.
