Bidong Island Luxury Vacations

if you have no expectations pick redang island resort. the place was built in 1995 and defelinitely has not updated. the washroom was old and moldy in he corners of the tiling with yellow stained toilet seat cover and a 1 inch thick slab of glue to hold the sink together to the wall. the shower head luckily was a modern update with the pressure of holes poked into a 2 liter bottle letting the water flow freely. the room tv might as well be non existent with around 10 channels all fully blurry. i don't understand why hotels don't equip a NEW smart tv with youtube capabilities. also the wifi only barely worked in the lobby, probably why you see alot of people always sitting there. for the hotel itself the restaurant menu was limited, the pool tables were out of service, the prayer room smelled musty, and the bar was closed indefinitely. your only options for drinks are 3 kinds of beer thats it. you get international guests from around the world come on. we took a day trip to long beach and being on that side of the island was night and day. if you can stay there do that instead. the resorts are right off the water the facilities are much cleaner and the bars and restaurants serve multiple drinks and food. the positives of the hotel are the beds were clean and comfy and the ac was plenty cold to escape from the heat. also the staff is absolutely wonderful. the employees deserve to work in a better hotel. redang island resort is rude to charge as much as they do. wasteofppl'smone

The check in was smooth with welcoming. Friendly and helpful staff throughout the stay. Noor Hafizul, was extremely pleasant, and welcoming! He was extremely warm and helped us soo much with all the suggestions for the island and the hotel more broadly upon arrival. We were soo happy and impressed with the check in service offered by Noor Hafizul, thank you soo much! Farouk the hotel singer at dinner time created a very pleasant vibe and atmosphere, we really enjoyed the dinning experience, and having this live performance every night. The hotel itself has lovely beaches around it, with nice swimming facilities on site as well. The breakfast selection was also delightful! Room was as described, spacious and clean.

L’hotel était surbooker lorsque nous sommes arrivés aucune solution n’a été proposé pour nous loger, nous avons dû chercher un logement de dernière minute. Je ne recommande pas du tout

The hotel was lovely, great facilities, fantastic staff, especially Priscilla. It was All inclusive and had some of the nicest food around, set in a more tranquil side of the island, but the hotel organised activities and boat trios went all over both islands
