Fantastic hotel for families. Great location and easy access to train station. Close to so many restaurants and Juno Bakery! Easy walk over to the harbour and new district. On hot days, go for a swim there as well!

My only suggestion is that the rooms have more lighting. It was very dark and shadowy even with all the lights on. Other than that small quibble, the evening wine hour, breakfast, and amazingly wonderful hotel and restaurant staff were the best!

A beautiful and well located hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the rooms looked bigger in person.

Poor service—nowhere near a true 5-star experience. The Positives: Close to train station, right on waterfront with great views (paid extra). Gorgeous lobby/bar. Comfy bed (pillows too soft). Great breakfast buffet & friendly chefs. The Negatives: Paid for 3 adults, room set for 2. Towels, mugs, glasses, & all slippers missing. Day 1, caught maid in hall for items. Next days, had to chase for complimentary coffee sachets & milk. Day 3, body wash ran out & still short a mug. Called reception twice; lady was monotonous, scripted, & unbothered. Cleanliness was substandard. Replacement mug was dirty; chased staff down hall to swap it. Room "made up" but my hair left on floor (not vacuumed). Dusty desk pen, notepad, & phone. Mould in bathroom. Sink drained slowly from arrival (didn't want to make a mountain out of a molehill), but clogged completely. Not my hair; pre-existing plumbing issue. Loud music at night with windows open from a busy area across river. Breakfast machine coffee bitter; annoying that decent bar coffee cost extra. Poor, unacceptable service for a 5-star hotel. Massive letdown, highly unlikely to stay at a Marriott again.

Very nice hotel. Outstanding customer service. Breakfast was v good. We had a canal view room which was bright and modern. Would return to this hotel. The only thing is the location is fantastic for the water and to Nyhavn but a bit far from Central Station etc. we don’t mind walking so it wasn’t an issue for us at all.

The 1st room they gave us was at the same level of the scaffolding that workers were working. At our request, our room was changed.

I was not familiar with Copenhagen at all when I had to choose a hotel for our visit. I wanted some comfort but didn't have an unlimited budget. CPH is an expensive city so be prepared. That said, Hotel Hans starts your day with a great breakfast buffet, It was included with our reservation. The decor is perfectly Danish, relaxing and comfortable. At 5pm it's time for wine in the lobby. A nice place to hang out and you'll also have a nightcap at 10pm. The room is comfortable although the lighting is a bit dim in the evening. The room is spacious enough for two to move around and the bed was a dreamy end to the day. On top of that the staff are the best. Always helpful and friendly. There is a bus stop to the center of town nearby, but you can also walk. The location is located near to many areas although there isn't much in the immediate area. The best bagels in town are a short walk away. I would stay here again now that I know the city and how to get around.

Rooms are ‘okay’. But location is what you’re really paying for and this is excellent. So many things within walking distance. Cozy hour was fun and the breakfast buffet was excellent (minor personal gripe, the sound of birds tweeting being unnecessarily played over the speakers). Excellent service from all staff I interacted with, thank you.
