The hotel is a few blocks from the train station. One barely hears the trains from the rooms in the back. The hotel itself has rustic charm. The decor itself is a bit outdated and my room itself was small. For me as a single traveler it was perfect. I wanted an inexpensive, clean room in a safe area within walking distance of the city’s sights with friendly professional staff at an affordable price. That’s exactly what I got. I did not pay for breakfast at the hotel. In retrospect I wish I had. The added 4+ Euro is half what one pays in the city.

Rooms were basic but just needed a bed for the night. Breakfast also rather basic. Beer garden open in the afternoon/evening serving overpriced wurst and Pommes but quaint enough. Overall reasonable value for money.

Very good hôtel, and very good price also

The place was so nice and clean people working were so hospitable. Breakfast was amazing with a lot of variety. I strongly recommend this stay in Hanover for a pleasant visit.

I would book this hotel again. It was well priced and in a very convenient area for travel. But there are two things that stick out: 1. The hotel room door didn't fully latch shut when I left for an hour. When I came back the door was visibly open. Luckily my room was further away and I was only out briefly. So the chance for someone to go into my room was limited. But it's still concerning. Nothing was missing. You need to make sure the door is fully shut, with a lot of force. 2. The WiFi policy is kind of odd. Only one device per room could connect at a given time. So if you have multiple devices (e.g traveling with a phone, tablet, and a laptop) or multiple people, not everyone can use the WiFi at the same time. Unless you pay extra. You have to log in and log out.
