Rooms are super small and old and not nicely maintained. The staff can be a bit rude as well. The shower is a bit dangerous because the bathtub seems like the material is not properly sealed to the walls of it so you are not really standing on a flat surface and instead you are trying to balance on the curved portion. My room had no hand towels or wash cloths, so whoever cleaned the room before I checked in, did not complete their job. The front desk wouldn’t answer phone for me to request them. The elevators are a nightmare! They are not only super small but they take a long time and are very confusing. At check out they tried to charge me $500 smoking fee accusing me if having smoked in the room which was NOT true! I have never smoker or vaped in my life. They kept saying there is a sensor that alerts them but clearly that is a faulty one. The person checking me out was super rude telling me she was going to have to open an investigation and depending on the outcome then I would get charged. Finally another employee came and removed the charge for me, believing what I was saying. The only good thing about this hotel is the location.

I recently discovered this hotel in NYC. I have been going there for years and I am always unimpressed by the quality price ratio. This hotel is beautiful! High ceilings and very large rooms. Big beautiful Windows and modern. Very nice hardwood floors as well. I will be going back for sure. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel over the weekend. The property was very well maintained from the lobby to pool area to the room… everything was clean and tidy. Room was spacious and felt new. We enjoyed lounging in our room or by the pool. There were also lots of places within walking distance for food or entertainment. The only two notes we had were that the elevators felt a little rickety at times and that the one shelf in the shower is so small. Neither were deal breakers. We’ll definitely be back!

Showed the customer service the Expedia VIP gold rewards and got upgraded to a bigger room.

Not bad for one night! Very friendly and helpful staff. The downstairs transformed into a nightclub at night and was pretty noisy around 2am. Thermostat was easy to use. Convenient check out time at noon.
