The staff was fantastic

Victoria style hotel which was very pristine. They have great hotel staff. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Their local recommendations were the best. Perfect for families.

Perfect location to all the sites! Great restaurants near by and hotel was great for my 2 night stay.

PROS: - The deluxe bungalow is spacious, has a large bed, it has a small fridge- ideal, a decked area, large shower room, with separate toilet - all pluses! - The restaurant staff are brilliant; Monty, Liton, Cielo, Alicia and another lovely lady who's name I didn't catch, and the chap who served us a lot who why do you always order that same thing lol are so lovely and super welcoming. - The food has definitely improved since we last stayed - the pizzas are delicious! - There is an online shop which has a bit of everything. - There is a bus transfer into Venice, (it drops you under the people mover €1,50 which takes you to Piazzale Roma) for €5 return per person or £2,50 each way. - The pool and the pool bar are excellent, plenty of loungers too (no saving them allowed)! Generally it's just a really nice chilled vibe here, which is what we were looking for on this trip. CONS: - Air-Con was a nightmare, it'd be ok for a few days then constantly reset to 24°C or switch off completely, the lowest it goes is 19°C so not great to begin with. - Reception Staff - at check-in and when needing assistance they were uninterested bordering on rude, not all, but several! - There is a little wooden table and bench set on the deck which is fine, but a table with a couple of chairs like at the other Hu sites would be better. - There's not really anything walkable locally.
