Bernisse Kid friendly Vacations

The room was clean, staff was extremely nice, very close to few food restaurants, few steps to the tram stop, and a short walk to the nearest metro . The air condition was perfect though at times it felt warmer in the middle of the night - perhaps allow to honor the temperature set by the guests. The buffet breakfast spread was pretty good.

The hotel location was great close to restaurants and bars and tram. The room was small but was fine very clean and all we needed. Nice relaxing area for a drink upstairs

When we arrived, our room wasn't ready but the lady at the front desk moved us to another room that was ready. It's an older property but maintained well. There were a few little items that made our stay average. One of the Doormen is really aggressive in regards to taking your luggage to your room as taking it out to the Uber when we checked out. We stayed for four night and the mini-bar is supposed to restocked everyday. Ours was only replaced the first night and the last night (after I called the front desk to ask about it). The toiletry boxes (shower cap, wash cloth, etc.) in the bath were all empty. Lastly, we went to the bar/lounge for a late lunch. We wanted something heavier than what was on the lunch menu and the staff was wonderful to offer us to use the dinner menu. Unfortunately, my burger bloody red...even on the outside.

Paid the thick end of €2300 for a weeks stay, was running the Marathon and the hotel is the nearest to the start finish line. That was the best bit. The hotel is OK. Breakfast is the usual international spread, nothing remarkable about it if processed ham and sliced cheese is your thing. The bread was the best thing on offer, the rest felt cheap. The worst thing was the bedding. The sheet was too small for the bed, so it just sat on top of the mattress, not tucked in. So, you have to get out of bed 2/3 times during the night to pull the sheet out, or face lying on the mattress. Then, the bedding didn't get changed. After 5 nights of this, I asked for a change of bedding, only to be informed that I would have to pay extra. Unbelievable. Use this hotel as a place to be for the run, then check out as soon as you can, and find somewhere better. One that had sheets that fit the bed...and get changed without having to pay even more. For €2300, I expected better than that.

Comfortable, clean room. Quiet. Good breakfast.

Really good hotel and very good facilities. Perfect location and walking distance from train station and Lidl.
