The hotel entrance is below street level and difficult to access with luggage. The ramp is not convenient, and guests may still need to negotiate several steps, making arrival particularly challenging with heavy bags. The parking exit is also extremely narrow, making it difficult to maneuver a car safely. On the day of our checkout, both elevators were out of service, and we almost missed our flight because we had to carry our luggage out under these conditions. Additionally, the information provided by the staff about Trieste Airport was inaccurate, the airport opens at 5:00 a.m so getting at 5.30 a.m. would be ok to be at the gate at 5.50. Fortunately, we had our own car and were able to reach the airport and catch our flight despite all these difficulties.

Hotiday have no representation at this site. The site is run by Club Del Sole, who have packed the site with holiday accommodations and sublet the majority to companies like Hotiday. The other companies have a company representative on the site, hotiday does not, Baring the actual accommodation the site images are completely misrepresented what to expect. If you are expecting a Club Del Sole experience, then you will be happy. If you are expecting a tranquil beach breakas suggested by the photos, run by the people you have booked the hotel through, then you will be as disappointed as we were. We are still trying to contact Hotiday about this misrepresentation, which has now taken a week. On top of this disappointment, we were told there would be an additional daily charges( €17) for sunbeds, which was enforced by security. An unnecessary cost at an already expensive overcrowded site. The alternative...lie on the grass in roped off areas.

This was a wonderful property close to the city center with access to the canal and waterfront. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel bar and breakfast were a big bonus!
