Love the free coffee machine and lobby/outdoor area. It was prime!
Our Bathroom can use a little more cleaning.
I was surprised by how far this property is to the city centre as I searched for ‘city centre’ hotels. You can take the tram though which takes 8-10mins to the centre. However this property is near museums which will be good to people looking to do those kind of activities.
Lastly we didn’t mind the mobile key to enter as we can navigate tech comfortably but i can see this being challenging to some tourists especially if you don’t have easy access to wifi.

This is a beautiful property in a historic building near the water. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us a warm welcome to the hotel. The location is fantastic for connections to the tram and bus lines going to Centraal Station. Breakfast buffet was very good with many options. The rooms and common areas are filled with character, the beds were the most comfortable of our trip. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel had no reception, which is a glorified air bnb therefore not a hotel. The check-in system is lousy. You are reliant on your phone to open doors, what if your battery dies? Next, most of the staff were very unpleasant, rude at best. One of them literally hustled my partner to pay the bill mid-stay meanwhile the booking was in my name. I was in the room trying to pay via their lousy link which barely worked. Next the bed was very uncomfortable, mattress was too soft. We ended up with back pains. This area is too far from Amsterdam there’s no need. I do not recommend.and I’m actually very offended at how they hustled my partner to pay the bill mid-stay while the booking was in my name.
