Montreal Honeymoon Vacations

The hotel is in a perfect location close to restaurants and bars in Old Montreal. There are numerous shops nearby as well.

Hotel was lovely. Fit into the ambience of Old Montreal perfectly. Large rooms, comfortable beds and good amenities. Only Disappointment was perhaps the restaurant. Only ate at breakfast but tried to have dinner And we were only people there for our 7:00 Reservation. Breakfasts were good.

We loved our stay at the Auberge du Vieux-Port. The room and bathroom were spacious, it was so convenient to everything in the Old Port and the staff was friendly and helpful. We would happily stay here again.

2nd stay at Boxotel. Unfortunately, it was not as good as last time. Room was clean, hotel was "fine" but it has lost its sparkle. Also - the main reason we booked again, the roof top jaccuzi / spa (which is what teuly justifies the price of this place) was not working / "out of service indefinitely". This was not communicated to us at any point until we got our bathing suits on and went to the roof and saw the hand written sign. Apparently its been out a few weeks now, so would have been nice to have been informed prior to arrival - as i would have booked another hotel. At almost 300 a night, absolutely not worth it. Otherwise, the place is fine. Staff are doing their best, I know its not their fault. C'est la vie I guess.

Air conditioning didn’t work. And then worse, the electricity went out for three hours.

Would definitely stay here again. Everything from the staff to the room itself was great.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The spa was outstanding! The hotel is easy walking to excellent shopping, restaurants, bars, and the basilica.
