Good location, grand hotel but the service members should be a bit more personable with visitors. They are formal but that making visitors feel special is a quality that needs developed more. Also there was an incident that happened to me in the night with a malfunctioning ac unit in the bedroom but no further calls were provided to apologize for the inconvenience from their part. A star hotel like them is expected to do better. They need customer liaisons that address any issues that happen from over the night. Still I have not had a call regarding this from any one of them. I went to complain at the front desk when the guy who called himself as the apartment incharge listened to what I told him. He apologized that it was their mistake but no actions taken thereafter. He said he will make sure this does not happen the next time I visit. That’s not the type of response I was anticipating. I hope the customer service needs to be top notch in Chennai for a Star hotel like this. Customer service folks should be taught on how to address grievances in a better more professional way rather than just apologizing for the mistake. Of course we appreciate they acknowledging their mistake but a 5 star hotel like this is expected to do better than just say we will make sure this does not happen next time.

Towels and blankets in the room were very limited. We booked an appointment with the onsite spa which was very delayed and kept us waiting for 45 minutes.
