Pottuvil Division 2 Golf Vacations

This is a newer property in Unawatuna so I was hesitant. But this place was phenomenal. The room was so nice, very clean, and had everything we needed for our stay, including a small kitchen and even a washer. It's close enough to all the local attractions, but located just far enough away from the main road to be very quiet. Good restaurant options nearby, 24 hour pool, and 25 hour security. Wifi is fast and the AC works great. The only thing that would improve this place would be if breakfast were included. But with all the great dining options within walking distance, it's not really an issue. Highly recommended.

A beautiful boutique hotel that makes for a wonderful haven from the chaos on the streets. Beautiful rooms, restaurants, pool and facilities. Food at both restaurants great and the rooftop Japanese restaurant was magnificent. Would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to others.

Our stay at Te Dalu was exceptional. We loved that the hotel was located a little outside of Ella proper, which allowed for connection with the beautiful environment and scenery while still being convenient to the amenities of the main town. Our room faced the hillside and had a wonderful view of the temple on the hill, and in the morning with opening the balcony doors allowed us to listen to chants and the sounds of birds and monkeys while waking up. The hotel itself has lovely, large rooms and is immaculately clean. The pool and lobby area are open air and so inviting. The highlight was the hotel staff, who are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We were treated with such kindness and accommodation from everyone. They helped us arrange some of the remaining details of our trip, like follow-on transportation, which was seamless and stress-free. We highly recommend Te Dalu!

Food quality is not up to the mark.

The Fortress Resort and Spa is a five-star hotel. It boasts a prime location—if your travel destination is the famous "stilt fishermen," several such sites are just a two-minute walk from the hotel. From the hotel grounds, guests can enjoy panoramic, spectacular views of the ocean. The hotel offers top-notch service and world-class facilities. Its restaurant, however, is merely average; the variety of food available does not quite justify the price point.

Nice location near the airport for a quick stay. Airport pickup was provided with a midnight arrival. Awoke to lush gardens in a very quiet area of town. The staff was very help in arranging a tour. Nalaka setup tuktuks and boat tour. He also shared some tips on surroundings cities. Breakfast and dinner options were very good and promptly prepared.

Place is very good Area is noisy and maybe not very safe

Hot water is an issue.
