My personal experience is that this a safe and quiet hotel. It is clean and the staff are friendly. On the downside,the advertised Laundry service is of little use. On the sheet it suggests next day return of clothes or even the same day if you hand other your clothes before 09:00 and pay extra. However, I took my laundry down on Thursday and was told it wouldn't be returned until Monday (and I was leaving bon Sunday). I did find a nearby launderette though. Also the hairdryer started to catch fire when my partner tried to use it. They replaced it quickly but did not take the old one away! This is just my experience others rate the hotel higher than me so maybe I was unlucky.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would gladly book it again for our next visit to Budapest. The location is ideal—right in a vibrant square full of energy, yet the rooms are surprisingly quiet, providing the perfect retreat after a full day of exploring the city. One of the highlights for us was discovering that we were within walking distance of the Szabó Ervin Library, a must-see that had been on my to-do list for a long time. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to all tastes. We also enjoyed some downtime at the pool table, which added a fun, relaxing touch to our evenings. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable—so much so that I asked for the brand details so we could recreate the experience at home. Overall, the hotel offered the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and thoughtful amenities. Highly recommended!

Beautifully renovated hotel however there are issues with how well it’s run. Our room was not cleaned one day, no water in the room, no fridge and no hair dryer.

Excellent Hotel Overall: A truly enjoyable stay from start to finish. Prime Location: Very close to the main train station – easy to find. Walkable distance to major city attractions. Outstanding Staff: Polite, helpful, and always available. Excellent service from check-in to departure. Fantastic Breakfast: Delicious and varied each day. A great way to start the morning. Impressive Housekeeping: Prompt and courteous cleaning staff. Room was consistently clean and well-maintained. Comfortable Room & Hotel Atmosphere: Room setup was ideal – functional and comfortable. The entire hotel was clean, well-designed, and aesthetically pleasing. Spacious environment that encouraged relaxation and peace.

Best location possible. Wonderfully clean, superbly maintained facility. Friendly, helpful, responsive staff. Great breakfast and enjoyable wine and cheese bar to help you enjoy the late afternoon musicians. This place has many repeat guests and now we know why.

Refreshing modern & tasteful decor. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms cool & comfortable, just a bit too small, but it’s Europe, so not surprising. Only negative is the lack of electrical outlets near a mirror. Overall, a good experience and addresses one’s needs. Plus: shoe cleaner in the lobby. Really liked that.
