Quiet during off season but the staff was great and property was excellent

Disappointing Experience – Not Up to 5-Star Luxury Standards I recently stayed at The Edition Rome and unfortunately, the experience did not meet the expectations of a five-star luxury property. Upon arrival, we were informed that the systems were down, and as a result, we were given our room without any key cards, which made access to the room quite inconvenient. Shortly after checking in, we requested an extra bed to be set up for our daughter. However, when we returned to the room after dinner, we found everything exactly as we had left it—no bed had been prepared, and there had been no evening turndown service at all. Overall, the level of service fell short of what one would expect from a hotel in this category. While the property itself is beautiful, the operational issues and lack of attention to basic guest requests made our stay less than satisfactory.

A good hotel with a good location but skip the City View, wasn’t worth it

This hotel is quite frankly perfection. Beautiful decor, warm welcoming staff, great location, and so many great details to make you feel right at home.

Amazing resort with beautiful spas. Staff were great. Room was beautiful and totally spotless. There were a couple miscommunications though. We made reservations at the hotel restaurant for 8pm and got a call from the front desk around 745 telling us we had reservations at 730 and that they were fully booked from 8-9 and to come down asap, but there was only a couple other people in the restaurant when we got there, so not sure what that was about. We also booked the airport shuttle via email before arrival (as their directions state to do), but it seems like no one had any record of that. Luckily another couple was going to the airport at the exact same time, otherwise I think we might have been out of luck. I have all the email copies of these reservations, but something got lost in communication. Overall though it's a fantastic resort, beautiful and relaxing. Wonderful spas and great way to spend the night before a flight!

Simply one of the most beautiful hotels with truly a top notch professional staff. This is the best of the best!
