Langøya Fishing Vacations

Overall not too happy with our 1 night stay here. I checked us in online early since we would be arriving late at the hotel. When we arrived we were told since it was late we couldn’t get a double bed but 2 singles instead, eventhough we checked in online. I still needed to check in when we arrived so why should we bother with the early online check in??? Room was ok, pretty dark and there was damage on the wall behind the door.

Overall, the hotel was well-designed, clean, and conveniently located just a 5–10-minute walk from the airport. The room was adequately comfortable, although the most significant issue was the occasional smell of jet fuel that permeated the room during our stay. At times, the odor was strong enough to wake us up and cause dizziness. On the positive side, the restaurant staff were pleasant and helpful, while the reception staff handled check-in and check-out adequately. However, our request for additional pillows went unanswered. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection of food in a comfortable dining area. The gym was better equipped than most hotel fitness centers, with dumbbells up to 30 kg, a bench press with more than 100 kg of plates, and multiple pull-up bars, although some equipment needed basic maintenance. One minor frustration was the lack of clarity in the booking confirmation about whether the reservation was at the Radisson Red or Radisson Blu. The confirmation referred only to the conference center, and the airport signage added to the confusion. Despite the hotel's attractive design, cleanliness, convenient location, and good amenities, I would probably not stay here again. The intermittent smell of jet fuel in the room was simply too unpleasant and concerning to overlook.

Hotel still having "teething" problems as only recently reopened. However, the hotel was nearly perfect in that most of the important points were extremely well organised - staff, restaurant, clean room. The only one let down was that the water in the bathroom was luke warm and far from being hot enough to shower. The staff didn't know how to deal with this attempting to say it was the norm - very disappointed and shall stay in my memory whenever I think about this particular hotel.

Excellent stay. Only minor complaint was that we needed to contact the telephone support to get the luggage room code for the manual lock.
