Very nice hotel in an excellent location for museums and canal tours. I recommend getting the deluxe double (instead of the basic double) that has more room for suitcases and chairs.

Nice hotel close to the airport and the city! The staff are quite nice and the breakfast is amazing! The restaurant was not very good for dinner - low quality food and overpriced, but not terrible. The pool is quite small and in a hot and humid basement, and there is an extra cost to use the sauna. The rooms are clean, modern, and well-equipped.

We were very pleased with Bastion Hotel. It was very easy to get to with the free shuttle (bus) from Schipol Airport than runs every 30 minutes or so. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Not up to the standard I expected. May be due to the reconstruction going on next door. Bathroom door would not close unless the toilet seat was up!
Awkward manoeuvring luggage to the elevators. Through opposite opening double doors half hidden behind pillar.
Shuttle from airport was not keeping to the posted schedule. Was at least 20 minutes late.
