Staff not friendly. Locked key in room and girl at front desk didn’t want to give me another key. I swear she rolled her eyes at me. Charged me 50% more for an airport car than other nearby hotels. Place isn’t bad, but better, cheaper, friendlier options all over Old Quarter in Hanoi. Wouldn’t stay again.

Located a block from the lake, the Hotel Solis is in the most charming neighborhood. The lake is a favorite spot for exercising and picture taking. There is an abundance of restaurants and shopping close by.
The hotel is modern and up to date in both fashion and services. Be sure to have the staff book your airport car. The breakfast is fabulous, with both continental and Asian cuisine. In addition to the buffet that is extensive there is also a chef available for eggs and omelets.
The EXCELLENT bellmen, desk staff and maids make for the BEST place to stay in Hanoi!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff truly went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They were always available to answer questions, offer recommendations, and accommodate any special requests I had. Their genuine hospitality made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service and a friendly atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again!
