Hokkaido Prefecture Beach Vacations

The hotel is in the best area on the Otaru canal, it is a bit older but still very nice and clean. Bed was comfy. Very nice for a couple of nights. It also has an onsen which is rare in the area.

This is the 2nd time we are staying in Grand Park Otaru when we visit Otaru. Proximity to the canal and the eateries makes it our choice

The dinner buffet has so many delicious options and such high quality food that you should make it a priority to eat there. The hotel is definitely of the era in which it was built but I think that adds charm. The hotel does provide a free shuttle bus to the sapporo train station. If I come back to sapporo I highly expect to stay there again.

Plenty of food options but some are located far from hotel Traditional Japanese bed mattress is on thin side compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in

Very good hotel. Service was great. Check out the bakery for some nice Japanese style breads in the morning. Major Otaru attractions are a short walk away. Elevators could be very busy during high traffic times.
