I had a mixed experience at the Ottoman Deluxe Hotel in Istanbul. The good parts were definitely worth mentioning — the hotel was very clean and quiet, and it’s in a great location, close to shops and a nice shopping mall. The garden restaurant was beautiful, and I appreciated the thoughtful addition of prayer rooms. The cleaning staff were also very kind and helpful.
However, there were some downsides. Our room card kept stopping working, which was frustrating. Not many of the staff spoke English, which made communication a bit hard. On our first night, the restaurant staff didn’t seem interested and we waited a long time just to place an order. The food wasn’t great and was quite expensive. Also, the massage service was unavailable during our stay, which was disappointing.
Overall, the hotel has some lovely features, but a few things need improvement to make the stay more enjoyable.

Fantastic property, within walking distance to everthing that a first time visitor to Istanbul would want to see and experience. The staff a super friendly and helpful.

Staff was welcoming, check in was easy, hotel was at a walking distance from most of the historical buildings, even from the trolly that brings you to most of the sites.
