I ended up getting a haircut because I had no other option. I had no idea how much he was going to charge until he finished, and the price was even more expensive than a night’s stay at the hotel. It was absolutely insane. His attitude made it seem like he knew guests had no other choice, so he tried to get as much money as possible from one customer. It honestly felt like I was being taken advantage of.

I’ve always loved this hotel. It’s always super clean, safe area to stay, pretty convenient as there’s a mall right next to it and taxis can be found easily.

Very pleasant stay overall with great helping staff. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone with or without family to stay and enjoy the amenities.

I’ve always loved this hotel. It’s always super clean, safe area to stay, pretty convenient as there’s a mall right next to it and taxis can be found easily.

The very grand entrance lobby is unfortunately not matched by the somewhat tired appearance of the rooms which are overdue for redecorating and a furniture refresh. For example there were cigarette burns on the coffee table, the window did not close properly and the bathroom fittings and decorations were very tired and frankly rather scruffy. The towels had holes and the bedsheets were ripped. This was shocking. After complaining, the staff changed our room on the second day and Yagiz and Hakan were helpful with this. The new room was an improvement but still not to the standard we expected at these prices. The buffet breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and the food was excellent. The restaurant for evening meals was also very good. The gym looked good although we didn’t use it but the outside swimming pool was not worth the additional fee for us because of the incessant loud music.

I’ve stayed about 15 times Lionel is always terrific great staff clean hotel great rooms comfy beds excellent showers brilliant location to metro it’s hands down my favourite hotel in Istanbul hence why I always return

Rooms need a little touch, nothing major example. Glass for toothbrushes. Robes, hangers only has 2 , better quality bath towels ,breakfast staff should be more attentive to customers rather then clearing tables, probably more choice of hot food at breakfast. Grill restaurant staff should wait until you finish your starters before serving dinner. Other than that all good.
