Small, clean room with comfy bed for a 1 night stay. Friendly, helpful staff

Check-in can be tricky is you are checking in after hours because the reception only opens from 8 - 5. Otherwise the location is great. The room feels luxurious but dated.

The location is good, easy to walk to Southbank. Hope Street Cafe is close. - Arranging a late check-in was sketchy. It was difficult to communicate with staff & the process was stressful. I had to send a photo of my licence 3 days before, then had to wait until the afternoon of travel to receive a payment link, pay the bond & wait for check-in instructions which never arrived. I had to call the 1300 number before I boarded my flight to follow up. This was at 8pm, which was not ideal when travelling solo with 2 children. - The apartment smelt musty & was in need of a deep clean. The main bedroom was extremely dusty, the bedside drawers didn’t close, there was so much mould around the windows and the bathroom smelt like sewerage. The pillows were terrible, flat & no pillow protector. - The reception staff did not even say hello whenever we walked past, apart from one female. I tried to just suck it up & not make a fuss about the lack of cleaning, until my children & I started getting allergy symptoms/headaches. The nice staff member seemed approachable so I raised my concerns & she arranged a cleaner promptly which was much appreciated. - Upon check-out, I mentioned the bathroom drain again & was advised that it had recently been “fixed” by a plumber. I highly doubt it, I could see the sludge when I looked in there - so gross! - No key to lock balcony doors from inside (for kids). Overall, our stay was fine in the end, but I would not recommend & would not return.

Room was a little out dated, needs to be refunished with more modern items, especially the bathrooms. We had a bath with shower combo and was difficult to get in and out without handles near by to hold and sometimes slippery when wet. Staff was helpful in any questions asked, breakfast was satisfactory with options.

I liked the room and our interactions with the staff. The exercise room was pretty good and the outdoor pool looked like it would be very nice when the weather warmed up. We got there quite early and even though they happened to have a room available we had to pay AU$100 to check in early.

As advertised, spacious and comfortable enough for 4 adults, washer, dryer and seperate toile downstairs, 2 bathrooms upstairs with another tv, carpeted upstairs, lgreat location with the markets walking distance, quiet, fyi there are stairs up to the 3 bedrooms for luggage up and down.
