Isla Fuerte All inclusive Vacations

It’s a nice hotel, the room was very comfortable with good beds and airco. There are a lot of good beds and towels on the beach all with shade. You have to realize that there is a DJ on the beach from 10 am, so very loud music the entire day. You can sit further away from the music but will still hear it. So if you come for the nature and calmness this is not your place. If you don’t mind the music it’s a great hotel, staff goes all the way for you and breakfast on the beach is amazing.

This lovely hotel in the middle of the Walled City in Cartegena is a gem. From the welcome from staff, to the check-in with yummy and refreshing welcome beverage, to the comfortable and well appointmented rooms. I love that they thought of a sound-proof door - makes a huge difference. Great restaurant on-site with talented chefs! Breakfast was so very good and on my last day I got a burger that was one of the best I have ever eaten! Great referrals to stores, shopping and restaurants. Everything is so close though, a very reasonable Uber-ride away. Great pool and roof deck. Sweet bar and great areas around the property to lounge. Staff were always so friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back, lovely experience.

Great option in a terrific location in the walled city. Gave our family a chance to spread out and get some laundry done before the next leg of our journey. Property has charm and was renovated to a high standard. Breakfast was included and while it wasn’t spectacular, there were multiple options and was consistently good. Would highly recommend as a two bedroom hotel option at a very reasonable price.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The amenities, the location, the food and staff made our stay a great one. The hotel is in the center of everything. Some great shopping and food ! I can’t wait to return when I’m back in Cartagena!

Property is lovely, rooms are awesome, food is great and staff is superb. 3 comments that I wish would’ve been proactively disclaimed: - some rooms in colonial section have no windows whatsoever, such as mine. Had to request room change, and had to insist a bit to get it. - There are renovations taking place, which imply construction noise. - Upon receiving the final check, you will get a $70+/day gratuity added. No question, not optional. I wouldn’t have minded any of these, as long as they would’ve been transparently disclaimed prior to booking, to provide a more accurate depiction of what I’d be getting. For a top tier destination like this one, surprises like these shouldn’t be expected. Therefore, I share this in the intention that future travelers have all the information at hand for their decision process.
