Elephanta Island Adventure Vacations

I stayed at IRA by Orchid for 7 days, and unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. The property is in desperate need of TLC. We faced issues with room cleanliness and extremely low water pressure in the sink. While the staff did eventually move us to a different room after 3 days of complaining, no compensation or apology for the initial discomfort was offered. Additionally, the breakfast was very repetitive; in a week-long stay, there was zero change to the menu. The biggest disappointment, however, was the staff’s inability to listen to guest complaints—they seem to acknowledge the issue but don't take proactive steps to fix it. For the price and the brand name, I expected much better service and maintenance.

Ok. Just about 3 stars. Poor maintenance and shoddy

Nice room - very clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. A little disappointed that the pool was out of use and we had no notification about it.

After almost 45 minute (not exaggerating) the staff at the reception finally found our reservation. Although I shared the print out of my reservation, they had issues and two and three staff had to get involved. They did upgrade my daughters room to the same as ours, however they did not get access to the lounge. After the initial fiasco the rest of our stay was flawless and the entire staff could not have been kinder, attentive and above and beyond. We will stay with Leela hotels in the future.

Room was just okay, not great, carpets were dirty, I think rooms could use some upgrade with new carpets & fresh paint & wall decor. Had requested a crib, which was delivered two days later after multiple reminders. The crib was very old& dirty, felt like it was falling apart & pulled from some attic. Breakfast was good & Staff was good too.
