Route 62 Adventure Vacations

After an intense work week, a friend and I had 4 days in Cape Town before returning to Canada. Rouge on Rose was a perfect place to explore Cape Town and its environs. The hotel is in Bo K-aap which is a really interesting neighbourhood and very central. The vibe was definitely chilled. The rooms are large and comfortable. Lots of little things done well - lots of international plugs, heat/ac pumps. Staff were fantastic - they went out of their way to be helpful and also had lots of great tips. I will definitely book again if I heard down to Cape Town. Highly recommended.

Just a lovely place to stay. My only complaint was that the food menu was very limited, especially since I didn’t want a 6 course meal. Options were limited and cobbled together 2 appetizers as a meal. Otherwise, it was a very nice experience.

The rooms are very well appointed, large and very clean. The staff are fantastic. Jason, the shift manager went above and beyond to assist me when I became ill at the end of my visit. He and his staff ensured that I had every single thing I needed to be comfortable as I recovered. Rozen was a joy to engage with at breakfast each morning. This is a wonderful property within walking distance to the Victoria Wharf. I'm excited to stay at this property during future visits to Cape Town.

Concierge Dale provided fantastic service for booking tours to getting my party of 15 around and to and from airport.

We appreciated that the hotel has created a walking area in back. After a long flight, we wanted to walk so having a safe place to walk that was also beautiful was great.

A clean, tidy room with all you need. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast.
