Clean room, good breakfast, close to night market and nice river view. however, not so easily exesesible because its on a one way street.

Wonderful boutique hotel with the character and charm of the past, combined with the comfort and the service expected nowadays. Nice pool, perfect for laps, small but functional gym, welcoming bar with a solid selection of drinks and convenient restaurant.

Very nice hotel, best service

The hotel staff was amazing.

A lovely hotel. We felt taken care of and it was a nice relaxing break during our travels. We didnt see a single other person while we were there and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner was also really good and the food was tasty. There's even a shuttle to take you to the main part of town.

We sure enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Xiengthong. The location was near most local attractions. The staff was very attentive to our well-being. Additionally, we were grateful to a surprise upgrade to a wonderful suite. We’d certainly use this facility for our next travel.

The bad: Unless I'm reading this wrong, this place shows up as a 5 star on Expedia. 5 stars is NOT the class for this hotel. I got the deluxe balcony and couldn'tell the difference between any of the rooms, so if you're gonna stay, maybe have them show the difference between the rooms, so you know what you're getting, (mine didn't have the white soffit shown in the pic, so maybe it wasn't the right room?). We got Lao massage, and would certainly not do that there again. There was no strength put into it, it was more of a rub than a massage. It's a tiny, tiny room. The balcony is the walkway up to your room (it does have sitting furniture on it, which is nice). The good: The bed is super comfortable.

Excellent location in the heart of the city with large clean rooms and courteous, kind and helpful staff. Would definitely return!
