Clean room with a view of the beach! One caveat - if you’re expecting a balcony none of the beach rooms have balconies. Also I highly recommend a room with a view or otherwise you may have a room that overlooks the atrium with less sunlight. Another piece of advice - if you book an executive room it already comes with breakfast so don’t double pay! You also have the choice between taking breakfast in the executive lounge which is quieter but has slightly less options or the restaurant which has a larger buffet. In addition the executive lounge does have snacks, cold drinks, and a Nespresso machine available for use throughout the day and they have a happy hour every evening with light dinner and refreshments and a bar.

Most hotel staff were excellent but some let the others down. Hotel has 2 restaurants casual and formal. Both nice and suit the occassion. Copacabana area is dirty, tired and you need to be super careful. We were advised this at check in.

Location location location!! And the breakfast buffet!! 10/10 all around was soooo happy with this hotel! I can’t wait to be back. I’m Brazilian but live in the U.S. and this was my first time visiting Rio and I not only fell in love with the city this hotel made it for a fabulous 5 days there! (Trip was 30 days long and this was the splurge because I stayed with family) my kids loved the plunge pool before the beach and they had such sweet touches including the baby towel and linen in the crib. Lots of little details we loved. We stocked up on water and snacks at the market two blocks away. Lots of great food right there. We’ll be back!!
