You're in your own little sanctuary - after a day in the hustle and bustle of the old town, theres nothing more special than coming home to a palace - shared by very few. So much more special than the similar priced venues such as Rixos and Hilton. Just incredibly special.

This was our favorite five star hotel of our trip to Croatia. We stayed in four different properties between split, Hvar and Dubrovnik.

Elegance meets Tradition: fantastic five STAR all the way. Exceptional location on the immmediate boundary of Debrovnjc (walking distance). Older historical structure but fully remodeled in a modern and classy way. Amazing views of the old city from where ever you sit or dine. Exceptional service and dining experience. Thank you for the upgrade (being gold at Expedia helps a lot). Thank you for making our experience in Debrovnic most exquisite.

I have little words to express my satisfaction with Forty Four. That’s an excellent place to stay when visiting Dubrovnik. Damir , owner of the place is best host you can expect. He helped us to park car, what is a most difficult task in city like Dubrovnik!!!! Quality of bedding, food etc. etc. is a topnotch . I will recommend this place to everyone and to all of my friends!

This hotel was perfect! Josip was an incredible help when we had any questions and would definitely book this place again. It is centrally located and perfect for walking around the old town to explore
