Good hotel

Being the Radisson you would naturally assume that it would be a memorable stay for all the right reasons: not so, in our experience. Read on We’ll mention the good things first: nice room with a great shower/bathroom, wonderful cleaners who helped us out with resupplies like water & really good food portions utilising room service (we had a fab breakfast at MAD230). Now some stuff we experienced which was, pretty poor for such a hotel. Firstly, if you like your green tea as we do after a meal, this hotel apparently has no idea what this is or they don’t have it: countless times we asked but received tea bags we never use. On the last night we learn’t they don’t have it. Next, the TV: we had to call the technician numerous times. What a pain, compounded by the other issues we endured. Their policy is a maximum 2 small bottles of water a day, then you have to pay a hefty price for it. NOTE: ONLY drink bottled water as the tap stuff in Casablanca is no good. Buy at the local supermarket. The best comes at checkout: our room bill was incorrect! After about 20 minutes the shift manager & hotel manager listened as I explained that our in room food bill was way over what we ordered/no discount was applied as per our Expedia confirmation, the bottle of wine ordered for MAD250 never arrived at our room. The front service was ordinary. They corrected our bill. Would we recommend this to our fellow travellers: No. A 5-Star hotel? Run-down area. GreyNomads
