The hotel was ok, for the price though you could at least help us with bringing up a steamer. Also some places advertise there is a shuttle for a price, but we were told there's none.

Everything about the hotel from the location to the staff, the bedding, the breakfast was just perfect for us! While all staff were great, I want to especially thank Francesco who was extremely helpful to us for the entire stay, including his patience with our non-understanding of Italian. He is a definite asset to your company!!!!

The hotel is quite close to the airport, and near a bus stop, but not near many restaurants. We arrived around noon, and the hotel restaurant was closed, and there wasn't much else in the area.

Our 4 day stay was overall a good one. It was a great location, with plenty to see, shop, and eat nearby. Our room faced the inside courtyard, fortunately, and was therefore pretty quiet. I was a bit concerned for the street noise, but we lucked out. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was modern. There were some quirks that would've made our stay a bit nicer. 1. The shower door leaked very badly, making the floor by the sink constantly wet and with a very wet bath mat. At one point, the hotel said they had run out of replacement towels for the floor, which I assumed was due to similar issues in other rooms. Our friends in another room said they didn't have the issue though, but struggled a bit to open the shower door when it was closed too tightly. 2. Very limited usable outlets for someone not from the EU that needs to use a travel plug adapter. If you need one, it was hard to find an outlet that would allow the bulky size. I was able to get two outlets in an okay location to work though. 3. The window covering is a large, thick wooden panel that expands to completely darken the room. It was a little cumbersome to move things around sometimes to open/close. Regular curtains would've been far simpler. Otherwise, it was a nice stay and I'd consider it again. The staff were very friendly and spoke English very well.

The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. My husband’s luggage didn’t arrive and I left my phone in a taxi. Sonia at reception called the taxi company on our printed receipt and actually connected with the driver who later delivered the phone to the hotel. When the luggage was delivered it was bright to our room. The breakfast is served worth it! Be sure to add it at check-in to save 4 euros per person. You can also order dinner from the bar in the lobby. Excellent hotel!!

Our room key lock would not work and staff was only able to let us back into our room with a master key. Had to wait. Lots of bus tours here and lobby wait time was long. Staff was friendly, just not enough staff. Bathroom was loud and I need of repair, toilet seat loose. Shuttle service to airport was well done. Restaurant was blah and bar prices 22$ for 4 shots of alcohol with no mixer and slow grumpy bar staff could have purchased the whole bottle.

A lovely end to our honeymoon. We stayed at El Avenida Palace for the Barcelona part of our trip, and everything was wonderful. The staff were warm and welcoming, the room was comfortable and spotless, and the location made it easy to walk to Passeig de Gràcia and many of the city's main sights. After some stressful stays earlier in our trip, this hotel was exactly what we needed. We'd happily stay here again. 5/5.
