Great location and very walkable. Close to transport links to airport and within walking distance to bus station. Thank you to Opera hotel and expedia for the upgrade. Room was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Traveled with family and had two rooms for two nights. The property has a nice location. It was clean and comfortable but maintenance could be better as there was moldy caulking in my shower. There is a loud bar across the square, but this is a city center location and the hotel provides ear plugs. The main issue was that the Expedia booking does not include breakfast so we added and paid for breakfast upon arrival for both rooms and both nights. I was the person paying and I did not ask the breakfast rate but I believed I had paid for the two days. The check in clerk stated back to us that this was the rate for the breakfast with room and tax for two rooms and two days. The check in clerk was very polite and helpful. Upon checkout we were told the second breakfast had not been paid for. I was then asked to pay in cash. I said no to cash but I would pay with card and that was accepted. The checkout clerk was very rude and I did not understand his attitude. I believe the check in clerk gave us a “rate with room,” while the checkout clerk charged us as if we were walk ins. If you look on line the breakfast rate with room varies but it does not exceed the walk in rate. Either way I didn’t care about the extra amount. But, I did not understand the demand for cash or his rudeness. It turned an acceptable stay into unacceptable. I don’t recommend this hotel.

This is certainly NOT a 5-star hotel. 1. Rooms are outdated & dirty. 2. A parrot lives in the dining room and freely roams where there are dishes and open food on the tables. 3. Smoking is allowed in the indoor bar causing the hotel to smell like cigarettes. 4. We were woken up every morning at 5:30am due to loading/unloading of the hotel’s laundry truck. 5. The hotel staff was unhelpful and the hotel layout was uncomfortable/strange. Do not recommend. Please stay elsewhere.
