Caqalai Island Adults Only Vacations

The good: - Friendly and welcoming staff. - Great views around the property and accessibility to the ocean. - Kids club and many activities for them. - Swimming pool and bar. - Well equipped gym. The bad: - The room needed a makeover. It was antiquated and there wasn't enough lighting, needed new fixtures. - The wifi coverage was extremely poor and was barely available in certain areas around the resort. - Drinking water bottles weren't provided and had to be purchased or filled from the bar. - The staff were overworked and the fatigue was visible in their service. - The buffet food options were repetitive, bland and underwhelming at times. - There weren't many options for indoor/ outdoor games for adults. - At one point it seemed that the resort wasn't prepared or well equipped to accommodate or facilitate a high footfall of guests. - The coral and sunset cruises were disappointing.

Great place to stay for both adults and kids. Warm family feeling at the resort, very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spotless, breakfast buffet great, and children's club is great. We stayed 10 days and loved it!

Awesome family holiday - beach, pool, water activities and lots of fun. Our bure was nice and the staff were amazing. We will definitely stay here again.

Clean, lush, not too crowded, very warm and helpful staff. Heaps of activities. We, 2 adults, stayed only 2 days but loved it and could have happily stayed a week or more.

Crowne Plaza Nadi is great for relaxation. With special mention to the staff who always greet us with a friendly Bula! The lobby’s welcoming team and porters and front desk people are the best, answering all requests with professionalism and rooms for improved efficiency. Housekeeping team is friendly with rooms for improvement, as we found our rooms not serviced twice during a 6 night stay. Would suggest the hotel to change the “Service/Do not disturb” sign to be like Asia hotels, using the button system to avoid misunderstanding and confusion. The breakfast is great. The rooms are spacious and mattresses comfortable. Pillows are towards the soft side. Hotel says it has a pillow menu, but staff do not seem to understand the offer. The lighting is too dim and featuring only 1 USB port for charging. Bathroom is spacious and we specially liked the amenities, we loved the Antipodes shower and lotion range. The only issues was the hairdryer, had to hold the button the whole time. Need to change that! The hotel’s facilities are great, so many pools to choose and the pool bar is wonderful offering great cocktails and reasonable price. The surrounding beach is soso, not swimmable, but great spot for the memorable Fijian sunset. We were there for New Years and the fireworks make it really special. Need to add more parking spaces for customers. Although the staff are very friendly and ready to help, many small requests have to be made multiple times to be met. Will surely go back!

Our stay at the Radisson was lovely. The resort has a modern, clean aesthetic, and coming straight from the Outrigger, you could definitely see and feel the change in style — it was very nice and refreshing. The resort itself is smaller, but it’s very clean and well maintained. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and provided amazing service throughout our stay. The food was good, and overall it made for a very relaxing and enjoyable family holiday. We would happily recommend this resort for families looking for a modern, comfortable stay.
