"This is a lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. The staff are both professional and friendly. The room we had was in the main building and was decorated in keeping with the building, clean lines and stylish. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious and we also had the breakfast buffet which was good quality and varied. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Chateau de Montreuil, which is a lovely boutique hotel set in large gardens near the citadel. Terrific location and easy to walk into and around the town centre. Their restaurant was excellent, with all five in our party well satisfied with our 3-course meal, wine and service. Highly recommended."

"The staff were great. The hotel is a good basic clean choice if you’re looking for somewhere to sleep and nothing more. The breakfast supplied was sufficient without being too fancy. The hotel ticks a box for an overnight stay on a road trip. However, the parking is a little bit tight. The bays are more suitable for cars built 10 years ago before vehicles put on weight and took growth enhancing steroids.
