"I think it's important to know this is someone's house with a few hotel rooms upstairs. There are some less-than-ideal aspects. The place is very echoey, so if the owners are entertaining downstairs you will hear it in your room. The lighting is very harsh, bright white, which is a big no for me personally. "The room was quite comfortable. I stayed in the winter and there was no heating, but the blankets were sufficient to stay warm. Two towels are provided, but there is no soap or toiletries. The room was serviced daily, but I had to ask for toilet paper.
The entrance to the hotel is difficult to miss and is a locked sliding door. Sometimes the staff at the entrance take a while to open the door.
The location is a eight minute walk from Rosebank mall. It is a nice place to stay at a reasonable price."

"The apartment's location is excellent, just a short walk from the Rosebank mall. However, several issues during our stay left a sour taste.
Upon arrival, we noticed a musty smell in the sofa or throw rug, despite spraying with Lysol. Additionally, the walls and ceiling showed signs of cracks. Maintenance issues were also a concern, with three non-functional outlets and a leaking washer/dryer. While the host was responsive, a pre-check inspection would have revealed these problems.
I could not sleep the very last night due to heavy winds rattling doors and windows. I knew it was the winds but all night it sounded like someone was breaking in.
Despite these issues, the apartment has potential. With a few repairs and improvements, it could be a great option. However, based on our experience, I would recommend future guests to carefully inspect the property before booking and be prepared for potential maintenance issues.
