Short, steep walk down to the water, and then a 5-10min walk along the water over to the main beach area where there are a few restaurants and shops for renting paddle boards, beach chairs, umbrellas etc. Getting to the town requires a short windy drive over a small mountain. "The property is very peaceful, being nicely off the beaten track – and was easy to find. It had everything we needed, and the host and her family made us feel very welcome – from local brandy and pancakes as welcome gifts to popcorn on another evening. A really lovely place to stay near some great days out."
