Komfort am Wegrand

Ich hab kurzfristig gebucht und ein super Doppelzimmer zur Einzelbenutzung bekommen. bekommen. Das Hotel liegt an einer Hauptstrasse und ausserhalb von Zell am See. Weil ich müde war, hab ich dort gegessen, obwohl mir das Interieur überhaupt nicht gefallen hat. Ich hatte ein tadelloses Steak, und auch das Frühstück war sehr okay. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Typical Austrian Hospitality

We chose the hotel as we were looking for something close to Shuttdorf, where our kids were booked for ski lessons and Kindergarten. It was a 15-minute walk from the Areitbahn, or there was a bus stop directly outside with frequent busses to the ski areas in Zell and Kaprun. The hotel is located in the Bruckberg district, anyone looking for Zell's nightlife would probably be better off staying somewhere more central. However with a young family the quieter location suited us perfectly. The hotel was clean, and everyone that works there was friendly. Our room had 2 double beds and a single, all with firm mattresses. The bathroom was clean and the shower always had hot water. Our one gripe on the room was that there's a 1cm metal ledge between the hallway and the bedroom. This led to several stubbed toes before we got used to it. The food was generous and good quality. There was a soup and salad buffet, a main meal (3 options plus a child option to choose from) and dessert. A couple of the dishes were a little overly salty for our tastes, which we have found is common in Austria. The breakfast buffet had some great meats and cheeses, as well as bread, cereals, yoghurt, soft-boiled eggs, juice, coffee, etc. There was a box of toys in reception and in the dining area, to help keep our little one entertained. Overall it was a nice hotel and we would definitely consider staying there again.

it was nice stay in this guesthouse, the hotel is on your right when you came from the tunnel , and i like that the hotel is enroute to kaprun ,vast parking ,large room , and very kind owner...acceptable breakfast as start for the day...note that guesthouse in not in zell am see just outside the town in your route to kaprun.

beside noisy main road

Outdoor pool was small only half filled with water and unusable despite it being 24 to 28c each day. The rooms vary considerably in size and quality. The pictures provided are of the main hotel when all of our party (4 rooms) checked in we were told our rooms were in an annexe across the road which looked like some one's house which had been converted.
